Environmentally Friendly Biodegradable Oils & Greases
Globally, there is an increasing awareness of the environmental impact of the large amount of lubricants entering the environment. Several countries have already started to restrict the use of mineral oil based products, especially in environmentally sensitive areas, and have required the use of biodegradable fluids. For protection of the environment, the use of environmentally friendly lubricants makes particular sense where either the risk of spillage is high or a total loss system is employed. However, the technical performance of such products must not be compromised, and the extension of lubricant life and equipment service can also contribute to the protection of our environment. In recent years, GB Lubricants has developed a number of biodegradable products, combining excellent lubricant performance with high biodegradability.
GB Lubricants supply a range of biodegradable products, developed for use in plant and equipment operating in sensitive environmental areas, such as waterways, reservoirs, forests and parkland. The products are readily biodegradable as per the OECD 301 B test and are virtually non-toxic.
GB BlO HYDRAULIC OIL RANGE
This premium range of biodegradable (>90%) hydraulic fluids, based on vegetable oils, is suitable for agricultural applications where operating temperatures do not exceed 60°C. The products have a high-viscosity-index, are virtually non-toxic, possess excellent oxidation and corrosion resistance, and have an FZG wear and scuffing rating of >10.

GB PREMIUM UNIBIO® SE
A highly advanced synthetic ester suitable for severe mechanical operating conditions, which require a lubricant capable of withstanding temperatures in excess of 100°C. Superior oxidation stability ensures longer fluid-life and an excellent FZG wear and scuffing rating of > 12 confers the highest level of lubrication. Virtually non-toxic, this product is > 95% biodegradable

GB UNIBIO® TRANS 1
Formulated to meet the current technical and environmental requirements of today's agricultural transmission equipment, this product is fully biodegradable according to all major standards. It is virtually non-toxic and has been specially designed using natural vegetable oil base stocks and selected additives to provide an equivalent performance to conventional mineral-based products in all key areas. It is suitable for lubricating transmissions, axles and hydraulic systems, and gives a squawk-free wet brake performance.
GB UNIBIO® CHAINSAW OIL RANGE
Specially formulated using natural vegetable oil base stock and additives to produce a 100% biodegradable lubricant, with excellent lubricity, anti-fling and anti-wear properties. This range of biodegradable oils meets the specifications of all leading chainsaw manufacturers and is suitable for use on all heavy-duty forestry harvesting equipment.
